Dressember is a collaborative movement leveraging fashion & creativity to restore dignity to all women.
Funds raised during Dressember 2016 will support the work of International Justice Mission, and A21, two human rights organizations that work to rescue and restore victims of slavery, sexual exploitation, and violent oppression.
“Maybe I can use Dressember to raise some money for anti-trafficking.” So, in its fifth year, 2013, I aligned Dressember with International Justice Mission and decided, “we’re gonna go big– we’re gonna try to raise $25K.”
– Blythe Hill, Dressember Founder
A lot of women are passionate about ending human trafficking, but feel powerless to do anything. You may not have a lot of time, money, or influence, but you believe in the dignity of all people.
Dressember creates a path for the busy woman to have a significant impact on ending a dark injustice. By wearing the Dressember uniform- a dress every day in December- she uses her voice to advocate for the freedom of all people.
